The west coast and interior of Tasmania are still largely unspoilt areas. Thanks in no small part to photgrapher Peter Dombrovkis the Tasmanian landscape has become relatively well-protected by the creation of many national parks. In the western part alone there are Mount Field National Park, the Styx Valley of the Giants, The Tarkine, Cradle Mountain and Lake St Clair National Park. Carolyn and I visited this area in March 2013 with photographer and tour leader Glen Campbell of Lightstalkers Scotland.
